I have built a few USCG subjects. I am working on my second 1/350 311′ Cutter. I’ve also built the 1/700 USCGC Tamaroa.https://s264.photobucket.com/albums/ii194/carlomaha/Model%20-%20USCGC%20Tamaroa/
I’ve even built a fictitious 1/72 scale USCG M1 Abrams tank.

My specific interest is the USS Barnegat Class (AVP) of small seaplane tenders (aka: USCGC Casco class 311′ cutters).
I am currently working on a 1/350 model of the USCGC Cook Inlet WAVP-384 and I am using resin parts that I have created for my own, new model business; Back-Aft Models .

I have 1/350 scale resin conversion sets intended for the Iron Shipwrights, Inc. USS Mackinac AVP-13 resin model kit. One of the conversion sets is for a 1960’s 311′ Cutter and the other for a 1950’s 311′ Cutter.
At Back-Aft Models, I also have some USCG Booklets of General Plans for 311′ Cutters.
My original web page at Back-Aft.com is an attempt at a compilation of references for the USS Barnegat class of AVPs.
Here is my model of the USCGC Bering Strait WHEC-382:

I hope that you are interested and that you like my models.
